Investor • Entrepreneur • Energy Transition Expert. Yusuf Bahadır Turhan is a founder and investor focused on accelerating the global energy transition. With an M.Sc. from Stanford and early work at ASELSAN and Stanford’s Ginzton Lab, he brings deep technical and strategic expertise. He founded YBT Enerji, delivering 30 MW across six renewable plants, and is currently developing 220 MW in solar projects with integrated storage.
He co-founded Clixsolar, a fast-charging EV network powered by solar, with 19 locations in Turkey, and launched Chargepick, an app centralizing all public EV chargers. Expanding to Europe, he created Instantbox in Spain, enabling over 500 rapid residential EV charger installations.
Yusuf also leads Solar3GW, Turkey’s key solar energy think tank, and is a member of EÜD, EDİDER, and EO. His work bridges clean energy, mobility, and digital infrastructure to shape a more sustainable future.
Recognized as one of Uruguay's top 25 technology innovators in 2024 and a prominent Blockchain expert, currently serves as Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of the third largest Web3 development firm in Latin America, further solidifying his leadership in the field.
His academic background is equally impressive: he has dedicated eight years to teaching at an engineering faculty, graduated with honors in Systems Engineering (achieving the highest distinction), holds a postgraduate degree in Big Data and Machine Learning, and earned a Master’s in Research with a focus on Blockchain. In addition to these achievements, he is spreading the word of Blockchain as an international speaker.
